Realme C3 to launch with MediaTek Helio G70

Realme, the brand which is making its new identify in the smartphone market like a fire and the Realme lovers, including me, are much excited to know about their new upcoming devices. In this year 2020, the Realme is planning something big and the first outcome will be the Realme C3, which is going to launch in India on 6th February, 2020.

The Realme C3 will be the first device to have the new MediaTek Helio G70 chip-set which is the best entry-level gaming processor. The performance of this device will be better than the Realme C2 and other entry-level smartphones. Now, it is officially confirmed that, the Realme C3 will be the first smartphone to run on Realme UI out of the box. The company has already revealed some of the highlighting features of the Realme C3 on the Flipkart.

Realme C3 Physical overview:

Lets have a talk on the physical overview of the Realme C3. On the right side there is a power ON/OFF button and on the left side, volume buttons and a sim-tray with triple slots. Now, on the top there is nothing and on the bottom, the micro USB port, speaker and microphone.

Realme C3 Specifications:

  • Screen size and display :
The Realme C3 will have a 6.5-inch mini-drop full-screen HD+ display with the aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The device will come with an IPS LCD panel having the screen resolution of 720*1600 pixels. The device will have the corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the display.
  • Processor and GPU : 
The Realme C3 will be powered by the new MediaTek Helio G70 which is based on 12nm process technology with Octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz. The device will have Mali-G52 as the GPU.
  • Operating System : 
The device will run on the Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10.
  • Camera : 
The Realme C3 will have an AI Dual Rear Camera setup with 12MP as the primary one and 2MP as depth sensor along with the LED flash. On the front, it will sport a 5MP selfie camera with In-display flash.
  • Storage : 
In terms of storage, the device will be available in two variants : 3GB with 32GB and 4GB with 64GB. Also, the device supports an expandable storage upto 256GB via micro-SD Card. 
  • Battery : 
The Realme C3 will be packed with a huge 5000mAh battery. The battery is huge and will last for long, but it will also consume time to get fully charged.
  • Weight and Thickness : 
 The device will weigh 195g because of the 5000mAh battery and have a thickness of about 8.95mm.
  • Connectivity:
The Realme C3 will have the support of Bluetooth 5.0, Dual VoLTE, Reverse charging and OTG.
FM-Radio. The device will have a 3.5mm headphone jack but there is no support of NFC.

  • Sensors :
Still, we will not get the physical fingerprint scanner in the C-series smartphone and the users will have to depend on the face unlock for unlocking their device. The device will have all the basic required sensors such as ambient light sensor, proximity, gyro-meter, magnetic induction sensor and accelerometer sensor.
  • Other features:
The SAR value of Realme C3 are : Head - 1.113W/kg and Body - 0.531W/kg.

The Realme C3 is available in two storage variants via Flipkart.
