Redmi 8A Review : Smart Desh ka Dumdaar Smartphone

Xiaomi has launched the new entry-level smartphone under its A-series namely, Redmi 8A, ahead of the festive season in India. The smartphone is the successor of Redmi 7A, which was a popular phone due to its price. The A-series smartphones are the much-awaited budget smartphones in India. The smartphone sports has a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch that sports an 8MP selfie camera and a Redmi logo on the lower bezel enhances the overall look of the device.

Redmi 8A sports a single 12MP Sony IMX363 camera at the rear, which is mostly seen in the higher budget smartphones and has a new Aura Wave Grip design rather than the shiny poly-carbonate back. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 and a massive 5000 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. Along with this, the Redmi 8A comes with the Type-C port and Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the display, which are the unique features compared to other entry-level smartphones. 

Redmi 8A is launched at a price tag of ₹6,499 and will be available for purchase via Flipkart. It will be interesting to see, how the Redmi 8A would compete with Realme C2, Realme 3i, Galaxy M20, Lenovo A6 Note and Infinix Hot 8, which are priced around ₹7,999.
