Google India launches "Google Bolo" for Indian children

Google India has launched the Google Bolo to educate the kids in India and help them to improve their reading skills in Hindi and English.

Google Bolo is a free and offline app which includes a built-in reading buddy,"Diya", which encourages, explains and corrects the kids when they read aloud.

Bolo helps the children in the following ways:
1. Read all by themselves
2. Choose from a large variety of engaging stories in Hindi and English
3. Understand English better
4. Enjoy as they learn
5. Personalised for each child
6. Read without distractions and data

Google has said that, this app is designed with safety features that it will not collect any kind of data about children using them and will not contain any advertisements.

Google has revealed that, they have tested the beta version of Bolo across 200 villages in Uttar Pradesh in the few months and about 64% of children showed an improvement in reading proficiency.

Google Bolo is available on the play store and support on any Android smartphone running Android 4.4 Kitkat or higher. Currently this app has supports two languages - Hindi and English and the developers are working on the other languages too.
